To get the show going this week, Odhrán and Kane discuss some of the various news that’s been going around the gaming space over the last 7 days. Starting with some discussion about Horizon Forbidden West delay to avoid crunch at Guerrilla Games according to the game’s director, Mathijs de Jonge. Following on from that we looked at the recent IGN article discussing No Man’s Sky‘s success and Sean Murray’s proclamation that the game isn’t finished “by a long shot” yet ahead of its release on Nintendo Switch this summer. Battlefield 2042 has been the topic of a lot of discussions recently so Kane and Odhrán delved into its failure to meet player expectations. Finally, we took a look at the estimated 1,000 digital titles that are set to be lost once the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShops go offline in 2023.

This week on our spotlight segment Odhrán and Kane discussed the recent Uncharted movie, the controversy surrounding number ranking and scoring systems in both games and film media and the Uncharted game series as a whole.
